Our dental lab team is a driven group of passionate, highly trained individuals working as a unit to provide the support you deserve. We have over 140 employees trained in fixed and removable dental prostheses from single tooth crowns to custom implant abutments and full arch fixed hybrid prostheses. Our lab is filled with certified dental technicians, master ceramists, denture gurus and 3D wizards. We are dedicated to continuous education and growth to always be on the cutting edge of emerging dental technologies and deliver the absolute best to our partner doctors.

Our Dental Lab Facility

Our dental facility is specifically designed to facilitate the fabrication of the highest quality dental restorations and provide unparalleled customer service. Exceptional Dental Arts is equipped with the latest technology such as in-house CAD/CAM, 3D printers, IvoBase Injectors, wet and dry mills to cut all sorts of dental materials, and equipment to mill certified authentic Straumann and Nobel BioCare custom titanium and zirconia abutments. We are also equipped with two full dental operatories for the convenience of our clients who require custom shades or in-lab adjustments or repairs.

Meet Our Staff

Ura Simonov, CDT

Founder and CEO

Our master ceramist, Ura Simonov CDT began his career as a dental technician in 1999 and has trained alongside many world-class technicians to perfect the art and science of dental ceramics. Mr. Simonov has received certifications from several prestigious dental organizations including LVI Global and The Dawson Academy. He has extensive experience in perfecting large and small cosmetic cases from matching a single central incisor to full mouth reconstruction. His ceramic work is some of the most beautiful in the world. Mr. Simonov is also widely known for his expertise in full mouth cases including fixed hybrid prostheses, titanium bar overdentures, and more. He excels in chairside conversions to deliver gorgeous day-of-surgery teeth to patients as well as long-lasting, natural looking zirconia final restorations. He continues to train the technicians to incorporate the latest technology and techniques into his laboratory in order to meet or exceed the expectations of his clients.

Bea Vitan

Laboratory Manager

Bogdana, generally referred to as Bea, grew up in Romania and emigrated to the United States in 2005. She has been working in a dental laboratory since 2007 and has taken a multitude of courses in shade matching, color theory and dental ceramics. She is an expert at custom shading, creating beautiful anatomy and characterization on those difficult cases and keeping our ceramic department on their toes. She has been with Exceptional Dental Arts since 2011.

Jeremy Adams

Technical and Chairside Support

Jeremy has a background studying art and science. He grew up in California but has lived in Arizona for over 35 years. He has been working as a dental laboratory technician for over 17 years and has seven years experience as a removables technician and 10 years in crown and bridge. He is happily married with two teenage children. He has worked closely with Ura here at Exceptional since 2012 and has grown tremendously in his skills and knowledge in this time.

Harold Parker

Removable Department Manager

Harold was trained as a dental technician by the Air Force, where he enlisted in 1979. He spent three and a half years at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He then moved to Buffalo, New York and opened his own dental laboratory- Parker House Dentures. He now has over 46 years of experience in removal dental prosthetics. He has been at Exceptional Dental Arts since 2017.

Wendy Wailand

Front Office Supervisor

Wendy brings years of dental experience to our front office department. She has been in the dental field since she was 17 years old, working in multiple different front office roles. She has been at Exceptional Dental Arts since 2017 and is a master at coordinating driver schedules, getting cases out on time, and keeping our doctors happy.
